Noel Booth Community Park
Overview
Township of Langley Council has approved $7.65 million for existing field upgrades and overall improvements at Noel Booth Community Park. The upgrades include new lighting for softball/baseball diamonds, improved backstops and fences, along with new subsurface drainage, new stormwater treatment, trail repairs and enhancements, raised pedestrian bridges, and a sanitary lift to decommission the septic field.

April 2025
Upgraded softball/baseball fields, trails, pedestrian bridges, and more are now completed and open at Noel Booth Community Park. Langley Fastball players, families and officials celebrated the park reopening on Saturday, April 12 alongside Mayor Eric Woodward and members of Township Council.
“It’s great to see upgrades at Noel Booth Community Park advanced, long overdue, such as new lighting for the softball diamonds, improved drainage and backstops, and home-run fencing. These are part of a multi-year plan for expansion, with Langley Fastball experiencing so much growth, we have to keep up with great, upgraded and quality facilities to make sure that everyone that wants to play sport, can,” said Mayor Eric Woodward.
November 2024
Upgrades to the West and Central baseball/softball fields at Noel Booth Community Park are underway. The fields are fenced off, and there is no public access to the project area and perimeter paths during construction. Work on the baseball/softball fields will continue through April 1, 2025. Upgrades have been completed on two pedestrian bridges in the park, but access to the bridge in the baseball/softball field project area is closed due to the ongoing construction.

Construction work is underway on fields, trails and other infrastructure in Noel Booth Athletic Park.
Background
Sports user groups have regularly used the fields at Noel Booth Community Park for training, games, and tournaments for more than 25 years, with aged facilities long overdue for upgrades and capacity improvement.
“These upgrades to Noel Booth Community Park are going to enhance the experience for user groups that use the facilities regularly," said Mayor Eric Woodward. "We will continue to invest in our parks and sports facilities throughout the Township of Langley, providing high-quality amenities for our residents.”
