Temporary Use Permit
A Temporary Use Permit (TUP) allows a land use that is not normally permitted by zoning, for a limited period of time. The permit outlines specific conditions for the temporary use, including:
- Mitigation of impacts like noise, light, or odour
- Environmental considerations, including tree retention
- Reclamation plans after the use ends
As per Section 112 of the Zoning Bylaw, TUPs are not permitted on land within the Agricultural Land Reserve.
