2017 Water Wise Contest Winners

Thanks to everyone who made this summer's Water Wise challenge a success! For the contest's second year, many Township residents proudly displayed their Water Wise yard signs and pledged their commitment to outdoor water conservation.
Water Wise rain barrel winners
Entering this summer’s Water Wise contest was easy: by voting for your favourite Water Wise video, committing to reducing outdoor water use at home, or nominating a Water Wise hero, you or your nominee could enter to win a free rain barrel or $50 gift card to a garden centre.
This year, we celebrated six contest winners including recipients Stacey and Katie, pictured below. With their new rain barrels, Stacey and Katie will be able to conserve water again next summer by using recycled rain water.
Congratulations to Stacey, Katie, and all of our winners! To everyone who participated in this summer’s contest, you’ve helped us in our water conservation efforts. Thank you!
