Report a Fireworks Use Complaint
A permit must be obtained from the Fire Department to discharge fireworks. Complaints regarding the discharge of fireworks can be submitted to the Bylaw Enforcement Department at fireworkcomplaints@tol.ca. Bylaw Enforcement can be reached during regular office hours between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Should you require immediate assistance regarding a fireworks concern after hours, please contact the RCMP non-emergency line.
Please note, for a Bylaw Officer to investigate a prior incident, please provide detailed evidence of the alleged offence.
Please include the following information in your complaint:
- First and Last Name
- Phone #
- Address where incident is occurring
- Is the incident taking place on public or private property?
- Describe the nature of the complaint
- Details of who is conducting the alleged incident
- Please provide photographs of incident
The Township of Langley Fire Department can provide information regarding making an application for discharging, selling, possessing and transporting fireworks.
