Education and Outreach

Education and outreach are key components of the Township of Langley’s Climate Action Strategy. Understanding and knowing the facts about sustainability and climate change empowers people from all backgrounds and helps eliminate the uncertainty some may feel about the environment and climate change.

The below programs aim to both educate and empower Township residents to improve the environment and take action on climate change.

Sustainability grants

To support and encourage residents and local registered non-profits and registered charities to undertake climate and sustainability-related projects, the Township has created the Sustainability Grant Pilot Program. Learn more about the Sustainability Grant Pilot Program.

Neighbourhood nature

As the Township of Langley works to protect and enhance our natural areas and ecosystems, we invite residents to join us in exploring and appreciating the nature in our neighbourhood. Empower Me
