2021 Property Taxes News and Updates

The Township of Langley has mailed the 2021 property tax statements, with some important updates to 2021 application and payment processes.
Home Owner Grant: As of January 1, 2021, all Home Owner Grant applications must be made directly through the Provincial Home Owner Grant website, not through the Township of Langley.
eBilling: As the Township works to deliver excellent customer service to our residents and businesses, MyTownship and eBilling for property taxes is now available. You can easily create an account and view your property tax account through this secure online service at tol.ca/MyTownship.
- On the MyTownship Dashboard, click Property Taxes.
- Click Link Account.
- Click Link a Property Tax Account.
- Enter your folio/roll number and access code from your property tax statement.
- Choose to receive your property tax statement electronically.
- Click the My Accounts button.
- Click the box with your address to access your account.
Pay Online:
- Log on to your financial institution, find where you can pay bills, and add payee.
- Search for ‘Langley’ and select ‘Township of Langley (taxes)’. Note: Township payee name may vary by institution.
- Use the 10-digit folio number on the front of your Property Tax Statement as the account number.
- Make payment and retain your confirmation information.
Note: Online payments made after your financial institution local cut-off time on July 2, 2021 will be subject to penalty as these payments are processed on the next business day. Allow a minimum of two business days for your payment to reach us.
Deferral Program: The Province of BC offers a tax deferral program for eligible residential homeowners. Residential property owners who qualify can apply online at gov.bc.ca/propertytaxdeferral.
