2022 Summer Festival Series Returns to Langley
The Summer Festival Series is returning to the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre. The community is invited to come together for free performances every Thursday night in July and August. The festival series features talented musicians who will have audiences moving to the beat all summer long.
All performances are family-friendly and will be hosted at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre, next to the Langley Events Centre in the 7800 block of 200 Street. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy a beautiful summer night outdoors in the Township of Langley.
First up in the series is Big City Soul bringing a high energy show of rock, pop and soul favorites to the stage. This fabulous Vancouver based 9-Piece band, with horn section, is led by two very talented lead vocalists Joani Bye and Terry Riable. Joani Bye, a seasoned veteran of the music industry has done background vocals for many popular artists over time and can be heard on ”Livin on a Prayer” and “Lay Your Hands on me” with Bon Jovi and “Love Hurts” with Cher.
If you are looking to kick off the summer with a party in the park, put on your dancing shoes and head to the Amphitheatre on July 7 at 7:00pm.
More information and a park map are available at tol.ca/summerfestivalseries.
