2025 By-election Sign Use and Complaint Process
If you plan to display a sign for the upcoming 2025 Township of Langley Council By-election, ensure you comply with all relevant election rules and Township Election and Political Signs Bylaw No. 6118. This includes proper placement, permitted locations, sign size, and timely removal. Failure to follow the bylaw requirements will result in the removal of your signs and/or a fine. Read more details and the full bylaw here.
Are you seeing sign safety hazards, signs blocking pedestrian walkways, misplaced signs, excessive sign placement, or other concerns that the election sign bylaw is not being followed? You can report a complaint here.
If you do display a sign, ensure you remove it by October 29, or you could face a fine. The Township supports the recycling of election sign materials and is providing a sign drop-off station following the completion of the election.
