Burning Permits Starting April 4

Pending air-quality conditions and restrictions that may be implemented by Metro Vancouver and Government Ministries, the Township of Langley will issue Burning Permits online only, starting Monday, April 4 for this year’s Spring Burning Season.
The Incidental Outdoor Burning Permit is intended for yard and garden cleanup, and is available only to properties 0.2 hectare (0.5 acre) and larger, in areas where surrounding properties are equal or greater in size.
Did you know that grass clippings, leaves and twigs can also be put in your green cart? Green waste can also be composted or taken to a Metro Vancouver Recycling and Waste Centre.
Burning Permits are valid from April 4 to May 6. During the burning period, Metro Vancouver and government ministries could still implement air-quality conditions and restrictions. All permits expire on Friday, May 6, 2022.
