Canada Day in the Township of Langley

Let’s come together for Canada Day in a new location, at Aldergrove Athletic Park! The Township of Langley is hosting an in-person event, providing a family-friendly opportunity to reconnect as a community.
Live entertainment will take place on two stages and includes Penny Pom Pom, Norden the Magician and a Puppeteer Kelly Haines on the Family stage and cultural performers including the stɑl̓əw̓ Pow Wow Dancers, and the Kunda African Culture music and dance group on the Main Stage. “This is a great chance to bring our community together to celebrate Canadian diversity and the people in our Township who have shown so much resilience over the past couple of years,” said Township of Langley Mayor Jack Froese. “Join in and celebrate what makes you proud to be Canadian.”
Official welcoming ceremonies, including birthday cupcakes and the singing of “O Canada” by Ava Hamill, are scheduled for 2:00pm.
