Clean up Langley Day a success

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, April 29 for Clean Up Langley Day 2023. Whether you participated in a large cleanup event or held a private one, we appreciate your hard work and commitment to keep the Township of Langley litter free.

Growing even bigger than last year, 12 clean up events were organized by families, individuals, businesses, and community groups across the Township on Saturday. More than 220 volunteers collected approximately 70 bags of litter from streets, parks, trails, and creeks. That’s 500 kg of garbage removed from public spaces!

If you missed Clean up Langley Day, you can sign up for the Adopt-a-Program anytime of the year. You can choose either a one time clean up or adopt-a street, park, trail or creek for a year. When participants commit to cleaning up litter in an area for one year, the Township will provide cleaning supplies, safety information, garbage removal and a sign to recognize your efforts.
