Clean Up Langley Day returns in April

Show our streets, parks, trails, and creeks a little love with Clean Up Langley Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9am to 2pm.
We’re looking for families, individuals, businesses, and community groups who want to make a difference in their community by helping us keep the Township litter-free.
There are three ways to participate:
- Host a community cleanup that is open to the public, allowing for other community members to join.
- Host a private cleanup that is for your specific group of people (e.g. a business group or group of friends).
- Join a community cleanup if you aren’t interested in hosting your own cleanup. Community cleanup locations will be posted on our website on Thursday, March 27.
When you host a cleanup, the Township will provide safety information, all necessary supplies, help to recruit volunteers to join your cleanup, and arrange for garbage collection at a designated pick up spot.
Clean Up Langley Day is an excellent opportunity to make a difference where you live or work, to be out in the fresh air, and get to know other people in your community. Plus, you get to help take care of the environment!
Last year, over 450 volunteers pitched in across 40 cleanup events and collected more than 700 kilograms (1,543 pounds) of litter on Clean Up Langley Day.
