
Commercial Vehicle Safety Information Session
Burnaby RCMP and the Township of Langley Bylaw Enforcement Division are inviting commercial vehicle drivers and operators to register for a free information session focused on commercial vehicle safety on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Township of Langley Fire Training Facility at 20355 32 Avenue.
The free session is being organized to help drivers stay safe and avoid costly fines and violations.
Registration is required.
The information session will focus on pre-trip inspections, the Commercial Transport Act, truck routes, cargo securement, transporting live loads, vehicle defects, weight regulations and more. The goal is to refresh commercial vehicle operators and companies on important safety information to help keep all road users safe.
This information session is aimed at drivers and companies operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks and delivery vehicles that can be operated with a Class 5 licence. The session is not intended for large transport vehicle and semi truck drivers with Class 1 licences.
This information session is hosted in partnership with BC Highway Patrol, Delta Police and WorkSafe BC. Representatives from these agencies will be in attendance to provide information and answer questions.
