Disaster Financial Assistance Available

Due to the effort of Township staff and our provincial colleagues we are happy to share the Township of Langley has been approved for Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) to help those impacted by the Atmospheric River event which happened on Oct 18 – 20, 2024.
DFA programs help communities and residents recover by providing partial reimbursement for eligible infrastructure repairs. If you experienced property or content damage, and did not have insurance coverage, you may be eligible for financial assistance through this program.
Who can apply for assistance?
- Homeowners, tenants, small businesses, farmers, and charitable organizations.
What is eligible for reimbursement?
- Building repairs, essential personal effects, equipment, inventory, and cleanup costs
