On Sunday, September 29, all Canadian, BC and municipal flags at Township facilities and parks will fly at half-mast from sunrise to sunset, in recognition and respect for Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day.
Marked annually across Canada on the last Sunday in September, Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day is an opportunity to formally express appreciation for the dedication of police and peace officers, who make the ultimate, tragic sacrifice to keep our communities safe.
