Provide your feedback at the Fraser Highway Employment Lands Area Plan Open House. The Plan being developed by the Township will increase industrial land supply and provide employment opportunities for Township residents.
In December 2023, Township Council approved the Terms of Reference for a Fraser Highway Employment Lands Area Plan.
The Fraser Highway Employment Lands, a corridor along Fraser Highway between 228 Street and 240 Street, are comprised of approximately 500 acres of lands that are not within the Agricultural Land Reserve. Thoughtful and strategic planning for these lands will ensure effective use of industrial sites, create employment opportunities for Township residents, and increase the non-residential tax base.
