Holiday Lights in Williams Park a sold out success
The Township’s free holiday event, Holiday Lights in Williams Park, was a huge success with all sessions selling out over the 13-day event. It was wonderful to see so many people in attendance embracing the festive spirit and driving through Williams Park to experience over 215,000 twinkling lights, as well as festive displays such as Candy Cane Lane, Butterfly Field, Mystic Stream, Township Express, and Enchanted Oak.
New this year, visitors were encouraged to tune into 106.7FM on their car radio to enjoy holiday music during their drive through experience and to participate in the Winter Wonder Quest scavenger hunt to find specific festive decorations.
Also new was the option to donate to the Aldergrove Food Bank during the Holiday Lights online registration process. On-site donations were also collected, through debit/credit tap devices, and using a QR code linking directly to the Aldergrove Food Bank website. All funds raised will go directly to the Aldergrove Food Bank to directly support people in need in our community. The amount of donations is still being calculated.
Improved processes and logistics helped to significantly shorten wait times for entry at the 2025 event, with decreased traffic congestion in the area, and less impact on neighbouring residents. We appreciate the continued patience and support of people who live in the area around Williams Park.
Thank you to all our event sponsors for their contributions and support of this community event. Holiday Lights received $35,000 in sponsorship funds that helped offset operational and staffing costs.
