Household Hazardous Waste Plus Recycling Event a Success
Thank you to all Township of Langley and Langley City residents who came out to the Household Hazardous Waste Plus Recycling Event on October 21 and 22. Your generosity filled three shopping carts of non-perishable food items for donation to the Langley Food Bank.
Over the course of the weekend, our staff, volunteers, and partners welcomed 960 vehicles from across the Township of Langley and Langley City, dropping off over 45 tonnes of household hazardous waste. An increase of 310 vehicles from last year, our communities are showing a growing commitment to safely disposing leftover products found around the home. Together, we are working to protect our waterways and our community.
