Join us for Family Day Weekend in the Township!

We’re celebrating BC Family Day with fun, family-friendly activities for all ages at our recreation and arts and culture facilities from Saturday, February 14 to Monday, February 16.

Enjoy being active together with special Family Day yoga, tot romp, swimming, skating, and learning about Langley’s history.

There will be free skate and helmet rentals at each Family Day skate.

Special guests including a glitter tattoo artist, magician, and balloon twisters will be stopping by Walnut Grove Community Centre for Family Day fun! At WC Blair, a clown will bring smiles and delight in the lobby!

At salishan Place by the River, families can explore a special display of objects and artifacts highlighting Langley’s rich history and take part in hands-on learning activities. Children can create their own take-home art inspired by local history, and families can learn about traditional First Nations tools with Kwantlen Nation Elder, Karen Gabriel. 

Registration is recommended to secure your spot. If a session is not at full capacity, same day admissions will be accepted.
