June is Recreation and Parks Month

Celebrate Recreation and Parks Month in the Township!
Marked in June, Recreation and Parks Month supports and amplifies the advocacy and promotion of recreation and parks as essential to the health and wellness of all British Columbians.
Each weekend in June – rain or shine – drop in for a free, family-friendly, play-led session at a different Township park!
Saturday, June 7 in Walnut Grove
Time: 11am to 1pm
Location: Walnut Grove Community Park (89 Avenue and Walnut Grove Drive)
Facility: All-Weather Field
Sunday, June 15 in Aldergrove
Time: 11am to 1pm
Location: Philip Jackman Park (32 Avenue and 271 Street)
Facility: East Soccer Field
Sunday, June 22 in Murrayville
Time: 11am to 1pm
Location: McLeod Athletic Park (56 Avenue and 216 Street)
Facility: Picnic Shelter and Program Space
Saturday, June 28 in Brookswood
Time: 11am to 1pm
Location: Brookswood Park (4001 – 200 Street)
Facility: Park and Non-Passive Area
