Korean Delegation Visits The Township
Township of Langley Mayor and Council hosted a delegation from Gwangyang City in the Republic of Korea to discuss establishing a relationship to exchange ideas and knowledge between the two cities.
Both the Township of Langley and Gwangyang City are similar in size with populations around 150,000 and have similarities in their natural and industrial structures. The delegation is also visiting Township amenities to learn about them as they endeavour to enhance their city with more tourism, sports, and economic growth.
"Today a delegation from Gwangyang City in the Republic of Korea visited the Township of Langley, including Vice Mayor Kihong Kim and Councilor Youngheon An. Council exchanged unique Township gifts with the delegation. The group is visiting Township facilities including the Langley Events Centre and the Walnut Grove Community Centre,” said Township Mayor Eric Woodward.
