Langley Airport Lands Grant for AvGas System

Langley Regional Airport (YNJ) has successfully secured a $100,000 grant from the BC Air Access Program's (BCAAP) critical funding stream – the first BCAAP funding boost since the mid-2010s. This is great news for the airport and its many users and pilots.
This substantial grant is dedicated for upgrading the AvGas fuel pumps and payment system resulting in enhanced reliability and convenience with features like:
- Modern payment system: a new, convenient payment kiosk system for efficient transactions that are easy to follow and intuitive.
- Enhanced protection and safety: new closed cabinets fully protecting internal components from all weather elements, boosting reliability, alongside dependable bonding reels for safe operations.
- Improved usability: automatic hose reels for easier fuel handling and large display readers making transaction totals clearly visible, even from a distance.
This is a significant step up from the airport’s previous system and will provide better reliability and convenience for everyone fuelling up at YNJ. Airport management is excited to bring these improvements to users soon.
