The Township of Langley wishes to extend congratulations to the Vancouver Giants on their possible relocation to a potential new sports and entertainment arena in Surrey City Centre.
Since choosing the Langley Events Centre (LEC) as their home ice in 2016, the Giants have been a cornerstone of our local sports community. For the past decade, they brought thrilling Western Hockey League action to our doorstep.
The Langley Events Centre remains one of the premier sports hubs in British Columbia. We look forward to a busy and exciting future at the LEC. We remain the proud home of the CEBL’s Vancouver Bandits, Canadian Premier League’s Vancouver FC, Trinity Western University Spartans, and Langley Thunder Lacrosse, alongside numerous provincial, national, and international tournaments.
With the addition of the ARENAS at Langley Events Centre, scheduled to open this fall, we expect even more robust sporting and entertainment events.
We look forward to continuing working with the Vancouver Giants as they continue to call Langley home for the upcoming seasons.
