New this year is an evening event at Willoughby Community Park, where the sky will be illuminated with a drone light show at 10:15pm. Come early with a blanket or chair and enjoy live entertainment in the amphitheatre, and delicious treats from local food trucks.
“I look forward to seeing residents and visitors joining us at McLeod Athletic Park and Willoughby Community Park to celebrate Canada Day,” says Mayor Eric Woodward. “I’m excited that we have added a new evening event to our festivities and that the Township is hosting a pollution-free, drone light show. I hope everyone brings their family and friends to both events to not only celebrate Canada Day, but to also celebrate what an amazing community we have here in the Township.”
Official Canada Day ceremonies take place at 12pm at McLeod Athletic Park.
