New Fire Chief Officially Sworn in

The Township's new Fire Chief, Jason de Roy was officially sworn in during the Change of Command ceremony at the Regular Council meeting on Monday, June 12. Chief de Roy has been serving as the Fire Chief since May 15 and brings over 30 years of fire service experience with him. A Township resident, he comes here from North Vancouver where he’s served as Assistant Fire Chief at both the North Vancouver City Fire Department and District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services. The Township welcomes Chief de Roy and expresses our gratitude to Acting and outgoing Fire Chief Bruce Ferguson for his 41 years of service.
