Pickleball Courts Open in Willoughby
11 new, dedicated pickleball courts are now open at Willoughby Community Park, outside the Langley Events Centre.
The outdoor courts were opened on Friday, July 25 by Mayor Eric Woodward, and several Township Councillors, alongside members of Langley’s pickleball community.
Pickleball players from across the Township now have access to the courts, which will include a practice space, meeting areas, paddle rack, and lighting when the project is fully completed later this summer.
The project is valued at $1.195 million.
New outdoor lighted tennis courts are also being constructed at nearby Yorkson Community Park with completion expected later in 2025.
