Spring Cleaning? Book a Large Item Pick Up!

Whether you declutter with a good ‘spring cleaning’ once per year, or you like to keep things tidy year-round, dispose of large items when you’re ready through the Large Item Pick Up Program.

Homes in the Township of Langley with municipal garbage collection are automatically eligible for the Large Item Pick Up Program. Eligible properties may have four (4) large items picked up by appointment per year. The pick up program operates year-round, with residents able to spread pick ups out, or use them all at once during a deep clean. Examples of eligible large items include sofas, book shelves, refrigerators, stoves, patio swings, and more! Mattresses and box springs are also included in the program, however, they must be bagged and may not make up more than two of a property’s four annual items (ex. 1 mattress and 1 box spring = 2 items).
