
Statutory Holiday Closure
In recognition of Remembrance Day, a day to honour those who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace, departments within the Township’s Civic Facility, Operations Centre, and Fire Department’s Administration Office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 and will reopen on Wednesday, November 12 at 8:30am. Flags at Township facilities will be at half-mast.
Curbside Collection
There is no curbside collection on Remembrance Day. Garbage, Green Cart and recycling collection will shift by one day for all zones. See how your zone is affected by visiting Collection Calendars.

Service Requests
For non-urgent service requests such as park or trail upkeep or roads maintenance, submit a request online. To report a service emergency or problem that requires immediate attention, call our emergency line at 604-543-6722.

Recreation facilities are open on Tuesday, November 11 but drop-in schedules and hours of operation may be different than usual. View each facility’s webpage for statutory holiday building hours.
salishan Place by the River will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 and will reopen on Wednesday, November 12 at 9am.
