The Township-wide Garage Sale Returns for Two Days!

It’s back! The Township-wide Garage Sale returns this spring and this year it’s bigger than even with a two-day event! On Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, join others in your community by hosting a garage sale on one day or both days from 9am to 2pm.

What is the Township-wide Garage Sale?

The Township-wide Garage Sale is a coordinated two-day event where residential properties across the Township host garage sales. This initiative encourages the reuse of items, offering a sustainable alternative to recycling or disposal.

While recycling helps prevent items from ending up in landfills, reusing existing goods eliminates the need for additional energy and resources required to process them, further reducing their environmental impact.

Residents are encouraged to host or attend a garage sale in their neighbourhood. By participating, residents can declutter and make some cash. Each home that registers simply sets up their garage sale in their driveway. The Township takes care of the advertising. Your garage sale benefits from being a part of the Township-wide Garage Sale as we encourage people to explore multiple garage sales hosted throughout the community on the same day.

How to register your garage sale

To participate click the blue button below to register. You can choose to host your garage sale for either Saturday, May 24 or Sunday, May 25 or both days!

Once registered, your address will be visible on our interactive online map. A complete list of participating properties will also be available on our website on Friday, May 23.

Deadline to register your garage sale is Wednesday, May 21.

Please note, like a private organized garage sale, hosts will be responsible for making proper arrangements for the donation or disposal of leftover items. The Township will not be picking up leftover items.
