Township of Langley Celebrates Canada Day at McLeod Athletic Park
Celebrate Canada Day with an afternoon and evening of free family fun at McLeod Athletic Park on
Wednesday, July 1. Hosted by the Township of Langley, the festivities run from 12:00 to 10:30pm and conclude with a
spectacular fireworks finale.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the community back for another fun, family-friendly Canada Day celebration, and this year
fireworks are returning to light up the evening” says Township Mayor, Eric Woodward. “I look forward to celebrating this
special day together.”
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a full day of live entertainment, family activities, games, food trucks, local
artisans, exhibitors, and more. The popular Kids Zone will be open from 12:00 to 8:00pm and will feature a variety of free
attractions and activities, including bouncy castles.
The evening will wrap up with a fireworks display beginning at 10:15pm. The fireworks soundtrack will be broadcasted
