Traffic Impact: 216 Street between Telegraph Trail and 88 Avenue, November 2021 – July 2022

Construction along the 216 Street corridor, from Telegraph Trail to 88 Avenue, begins the week of November 29. Work will include road widening from two lanes to four lanes, installation of multi-use paths on both sides of the street, streetlighting, a mid-block pedestrian crossing, traffic signal upgrades, and street trees.

Construction will be carried out by the Township’s contractor weekdays from 7:00am to 8:00pm, except for statutory holidays. Work will also take place on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm.
