Water main break at 21335 Old Yale Road, June 5

Updated June 5 at 11:20am: The watermain has been repaired and crews are currently flushing the watermain. Normal water pressure will resume soon. Properties impacted by the water main break are encouraged to run cold water taps for 20 minutes.

Utilities staff are currently at a watermain break at 21335 Old Yale Road. The damaged watermain has been throttled and crews are working to expose the break location to determine repairs.

Traffic control is in place and includes Single Lane Alternating traffic.

See attached map for the location of the break with the immediate effected properties highlighted in red.  These properties, and possibly others in the surrounding area, will experience low to no water pressure while the repairs are taking place.  Staff are notifying those in the immediate area. 

Additionally, the following Hydrants are currently out of service: 2072, 2072 and 2288.
