Get Ready for Summer Nights in the Township

Starting in July, join us every week for free and low-cost outdoor events happening throughout the Township of Langley!

Concerts at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre every Thursday at 7pm will showcase talented Canadian musicians from various genres, while outdoor movies at James Hill Park and Topham Park will feature family-friendly films.

On Fire Truck Fun Nights at Brookswood Secondary School and Philip Jackman Park, come check out the fire truck, learn about fire safety, try hands-on activities, and meet Township of Langley firefighters and Asher the Fire Dog. Plus, we’ll have inflatables, games, food trucks, a DJ spinning hit music, and more!

• On Thursday, July 11, join us at Philip Jackman Park and be prepared to get wet and wild in a community water fight! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to participate. Bring your water gun or any type of water-dispensing device to soak your ‘opponents!’ Water balloons are not permitted.

• On Thursday, August 8 at Brookswood Secondary School, Fire Truck Fun Night will feature a foam party!

Our popular waterpark special events return to The Outdoor Experience at Aldergrove Community Centre! Advance online registration is required for all events listed below (no drop-ins). Registration opens seven days in advance of each event for both Township and non-Township residents.

• Everyone can enjoy the unique experience of our dive-in theatre! Bring your inflatable floatie and float around Breaker Bay or relax poolside while watching a family-friendly movie on the big screen.

• Adults (ages 19+) can experience the waterpark in a kid-free atmosphere while enjoying local craft beer and wine at our Sip ‘n Dip events.
• Youth, ages 13 to 18, will take over the waterpark for two nights where they can have fun in a kid-free and parent-free environment.

• Plus, new this year are two Family Night events where adults and children can spend time together and create lasting memories!

Admission to Youth Night and Family Night events at The Outdoor Experience are included with a Summer Fun Pass for children and youth.
