Smith Neighbourhood Plan Update Open House

The Township of Langley invites you to attend a drop-in open house on Thursday, January 25 to learn more about updates to the Smith Neighbourhood Plan and to provide your feedback.
The Smith neighbourhood is in the eastern part of the Willoughby community, immediately south of the Yorkson neighbourhood. The Smith Neighbourhood Plan was adopted by Township Council in June 2017.
In November 2022, Council directed staff to update the Smith Neighbourhood Plan with consideration of economic viability, and the provision of major roads and additional recreational/community amenities. There was further direction to consider additional Community Amenity Contributions specific to Smith. Community Amenity Contributions are voluntary cash payments provided by developers to fund or improve public amenities.
